Need Help Determining your Setbacks?

All parcels and lots in unincorporated Jefferson County are subject to property line setbacks. These are the minimum distances from property lines where structures can be located. Setbacks are based on zone districts and lot shape. The Planning Division staff can help you determine what the setbacks are for your property. The graphics below demonstrate setback rules for corner lots and double frontage lots (lots that are located between two streets).
